South Africa concerts and masterclass
In septmeber 2008 Ólavur Jakobsen participated in the New Music Indaba in South Africa.
Giving a historic solo guitar recital at UNISA, Tshwane (Pretoria) with exclusively Faroese music on the programme.
Conducting a masterclass with guitar students at the University of South Africa, Tshwane and performing together with Helen Vosloo, principal flutist of The Johannesburg Symphony Orchestra at The University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
